February is generally an exciting month for formal trends, and this February was no exception!
In February, we saw a wide variety of color families represented, which has been the norm through the colder months. Also, more color variety is expected through Prom Season, which is just around the bend. Because of this, we saw 3 Steel Grey tuxedos and suits, 3 Classic Black tuxedos, 2 Heather Grey tuxedos, a Tan tuxedo, and a Midnight Blue tuxedo!
This Top 10 list mirrors the trends that we expect this time of year. Formal events that call for classic black tuxedos are more common because it isn’t too hot to wear black formal wear. This also applies to the Midnight Blue ‘Maxwell’ Tuxedo, which is also Black Tie appropriate. Grey and tan tuxedos and suits are still strong renters because they are versatile enough for any formal or semi-formal event that doesn’t call for Black Tie.
As the weather (hopefully) starts to warm up in March, we will likely see classic black tuxedos lose some steam, but not too much. Because prom season is starting up in several regions, we’re expecting quite a lot of color variety. Check back with us next month to see how spot on we are!
