How very ‘Pinteresting!’
Pinterest is the fastest growing social image bookmarking site on the web. Basically, it’s a visual pinboard where you can organize and share ideas and your favorite products. For business owners like us, it’s a new and exciting way to connect with our customers and put our merchandise where they’ll see it. And, it is the 3rd most popular social network in the U.S, behind Facebook and Twitter. In fact, USA Today recently wrote a very interesting article all about the ‘Pinterest Bride!‘

Interestingly enough, many brides are using Pinterest to plan and organize their weddings. We thought it would be a good idea to make our tuxedos easily accessible to all those planning their wedding, and even those still dreaming of their special day to come!
In the screenshot below of our Steel Grey ‘Twilight’ Tuxedo product page (our most popular tuxedo for March 2012!) you’ll notice the newly added ‘Pin It’ button. Just like with the Facebook ‘Like’ button, you must have a Pinterest account and be logged in to use it. After clicking the button, you can then specify which ‘board’ you’d like that pin to go on. We’d stick the Steel Grey ‘Twilight’ (see screenshot) on our ‘In Style: Grey Tuxedos & Suits‘ board. Now it’s saved in a logical location where people looking for wedding ideas can find it, and they are introduced to MyTuxedoCatalog.com and our Dealer Network!
Pinterest is still technically in ‘invitation only’ mode, so you can either request an account, or email us and we’ll send you an invite! Note: a Facebook or Twitter account is required to sign up.
